Medium Killer Sudoku strategies
While it may be absolutely fine to play beginner Killer Sudoku levels intuitively by just trusting your gut, medium Killer Sudoku requires the grasp of a few basic strategies. They’re quite simple, let’s review one of them down below.
“Innie/Outie” strategy
When you’re completing a specific row or a block, you might notice it’s made up of a few full cages and a cell that is a part of another cage. We would call that cell “an innie” and you can see an example of it in the image below.
We know that the sum of all numbers in a block, row or column is always 45. Hence, 45 - 14 - 16 - 13 = 2. That would be the value for the last call. As the total value of that cage is 5 we can easily figure out “the outie” – 5 - 2 = 3. This is a very simple yet effective strategy for medium Killer Sudoku levels.
Why you should play Killer Sudoku
As you see, Killer Sudoku is quite simple, yet thought-provoking and challenging puzzle game. It’s a great way to distract yourself from the routine tasks or give your brain a workout when bored.
